Definition of Compact Disk
Definition of Compact Disk or what we are usually referred to as CD is a circular disk made of metal or plastic. Compatct disk has a material that turns out to be electrically flowing making it magnetic. The CD will store data, the data is then recorded. After that, the data contained in the CD can be read by utilizing the conduction coil called head .
The CD was first introduced in 1982 which then peaked in sales around 2000, where CD sales reached figures which is fantastic is 2,445 million disks or pieces.
Indeed, one of the weaknesses of compatct disks is that the sound quality is not as good as that produced by cassette tapes which are the standard of pure sine sound. However, it acts as a ladder derived from the change between digital signal into analog signal .

Later, the CD will be inserted into the CD ROM which is a storage medium whose role is to read what the contents of the data contained in the CD. CD ROM will be connected to a computer so that data will be displayed on the monitor screen.
History of Compact Disk
First of all, compact disks were introduced in the form of prototypes originating from Philips and also Sony. They independently began in the mid to late 1970. The two companies then decided to join or collaborate in creating a standard format that has player technology. In the end, the company succeeded in creating the CD and then marketing it in 1982.

How Does a Compact Disk Work
How does a CD work? It should be understood that in the compact disk there is a laser lens that functions to remove the laser to a CD. When the laser has hit the protrusion, then the light will bounce towards optical pickup .
The reflection of this beam will make the CD disc readable which is how to read it, read every bit. The bit signal will then be processed into analog data which will then be delivered to signal amplifier for further processing by the computer.
After that, the computer begins to identify the introduction of analog data which will then bring it to the monitor screen.
