Google Pixel 4 design was just confirmed by Google

In a surprising move, Google just confirmed the Google Pixel 4 design months ahead of its expected launch.

After a deluge of leaks related to the design of the Pixel 4, it seems Google decided to get ahead of the game and just release a photo of the device. Google paired the photo with a tongue-in-cheek statement of “since there seems to be some interest…”

See the tweet for yourself below:

The design confirms earlier speculation that the Google Pixel 4 would come with a new camera setup, eschewing the single-sensor system of previous generations. Instead, the Pixel 4 appears to have two camera lenses as well as a third sensor, which might be the assumed spectral sensor.

The design also confirms no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for the Pixel 4. There might be an in-display sensor instead.

Google didn’t show the front of the device so we don’t have any idea of what the display might look like or how many sensors are on the front. However, speculation is that there will be many front-facing camera sensors to enable a Face ID-like recognition system.

This is a developing story and this article will continuously update…
