It feels inappropriate if Windows
call AIMP only as an audio player. From its appearance, it can already be seen that AIMP is able to do more than just play music.
Unlike the previous version, the latest version of AIMP displays the main window in the form of a mu-sic library integrated with the player. This skin change is drastic enough that it might feel uncomfortable for users who are familiar with the appearance of AIMP 3. The old skin is included in the installation file and can be activated via the AIMP settings window.

AIMP has an equalizer with various presets to instantly adjust bass and treble. Every time a preset is selected, the changes will be immediately heard on the song being played without having to press the OK button. After finding the right preset, then the button is pressed to permanently activate the preset.
Presets can also be adjusted automatically according to song genre. When playing a classic genre of songs, what is activated is the Classic preset. When playing a rock genre song, the preset will also change to Rock. And so on. If the song playing belongs to a genre that does not yet exist in the preset, the preset is automatically selected as the most appropriate one. For example, for the Disco genre, Dance presets are chosen. Of course users can also make their own presets. And this preset can be activated automatically for certain tracks or genres.
There is a requirement that presets can be adjusted automatically, i.e. every track has to contain genre information in its metadata. In this case AIMP provides the Tag Editor feature so that users can do it manually.
For the convenience of listening to music, in addition to providing an equalizer, AIMP also adds a fade-in effect at the beginning of each song and fade out at each end of the song to smooth the transfer between tracks. The duration of the effect can be adjusted so that it is not too long or too short. In addition, there is also an option to cut the lag time whose duration is longer than 0.5 seconds.

With the above features, anyone will feel comfortable listening to music, let alone AIMP can also play internet radio so users will never run out of songs to listen to. The radio can be recorded and the recording results can be split based on the track automatically. And in addition, several plugins are available that allow AIMP to play music from YouTube and cloud storage such as Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox.
Amazingly, even though AIMP is crammed with various features, memory consumption remains small. Its highest consumption only reaches around 13MB while playing a song. So, even if you are currently using Winamp, 1by1, MusicBee, Foobar, VLC Player, or other music player software, you should still try AIMP. Download the latest and free AIMP via the link below:
