2 . Asking Allah SWT for good morals

In terms of prayer, it means worship or asking for and asking for gifts or protection. The mirrored prayer above is one of the prayers that God guides us to have good morals . Because it is only a mercy from Allah that we have good character. Allah says in the letter Ali Imran verse 159 which means,

"Then it is due to the mercy of Allah that you behave gently toward them. If you behave hard and be harsh, surely they will distance themselves from your surroundings … (Surah Ali Imran: 159).

From Abu Darda 'radhiallalu' anhu, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said, "No there is something heavier in the balance of a servant on the Day of Judgment than good character. Indeed, Allah will be angry with those who act viciously and say bad and bad tone of speech. " (HR. Tirmidhi)

In another narration, from Abu Hurairah radhiallahu 'anhu, he said:

"The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was once asked about the deeds of deeds that most often cause people to enter Paradise, then he replied," Obeying Allah and having good character. " (HR. Tirmidhi)

Good morals can in the form of a radiant face, leaving deeds that can accuse others, do good, say good things, can control anger, be patient in dealing with crimes committed by others, etc.

3. Grateful with everything that we have

As humans, sometimes we don't realize that what we have now is the best. Though Allah SWT has created humans in the best conditions. In the letter At Tiin verse 4 Allah SWT says,

 Mirrored and Latin Prayers

According to the Interpretation of the Qur'an Hidayatul Insan, what is meant by "humans in the best form" is perfect and physically balanced according to the location of the limbs. Therefore, as Muslims we should be grateful for what Allah SWT has created.

4. Do not denounce the physical deficiencies that are owned

Often, we feel our faces are less beautiful or handsome so that makes us feel inferior and others. This is actually not a reason for us not to be grateful even to denounce the physical deficiencies owned.

If this is done, it means that we denounce God's creation. Whatever shortcomings you have should still be thankful for and not be a reason for self-deprecation.

If you cannot appreciate and accept what you lack, others will not be able to appreciate and accept the deficiencies we have. Because behind the real shortcomings there are other advantages that we should be aware of.

5. Be patient with the shortcomings owned

All the shortcomings that are actually owned are not to be condemned but to be grateful. In fact we are required to be patient with all the shortcomings that exist. Allah SWT said,

 Reflecting Prayer in Islam

From Shuhaib bin Sinan radhiallahu ‘anhu that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu‘ alayhi wasallam said, If he gets pleasure then he is grateful, then that is better for him. And when he is afflicted with distress and then he is patient, then that is better for him. " (HR. Muslim)

In another narration it says,

From Anas radhiallahu 'anhu, he said: "I have heard the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said," Verily Allah says, "If I test my servant with his eyes that he loves (blinded), then he is patient, then I will give him heaven instead." [19659022] (HR. Bukhari) .

6. Don't admire yourself too much

When looking in a mirror, it is not uncommon for us to feel beautiful or handsome. In Islam, feeling yourself more beautiful and handsome can lead us to arrogant attitude. Even as a result of this arrogance can make someone behave arbitrarily to others such as insulting and so on.

For this reason, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam taught the importance of being humble or tawadhu because it can prevent us from being proud and self-righteous behavior authority to others. This is mentioned in the following hadith.

From Iyadh bin Himar radhiallahu 'anhu, he said: Rasulullah sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam said, "Truly, Allah revealed to you that you are tawadhu '(humble), until someone does not boast oneself to others and someone not arbitrary to others. " (HR. Muslim)

7. Do not be too long in front of a mirror

Reflecting is necessary but not too long because it can increase stress. Not gratitude is offered to Allah SWT but he will be anxious about all the deficiencies that exist.

This is scientifically proven. The results show that those who look at themselves in the mirror for about 10 minutes can make themselves anxious.

Regarding the results of this study, experts claim that reflecting for a long time under certain conditions can cause BDD or Body Dsymorphic Disorder or body dysmorphic disorder is a kind of disorder that makes a person feel anxious about his body shape or appearance. This anxiety makes a person feel depressed. And what needs to be understood is that this disorder is permanent.

8. No exaggeration in the mirror

Another thing that must be considered when reflecting is not excessive in the mirror. In a sense, reflecting as necessary and naturally. You don't need to look in the mirror all the time just to see if your makeup still looks good or not. Besides being excessive, it can also disturb the people around him.

That is the end of our discussion this time about praying in a mirror. May be useful. Thank you.
