Welcome back to the Weekly Plan Spotlight! If you’re considering a new mobile plan, we’re here to tell you which providers are offering up tasty incentives.
Sometimes mobile plan deals have so much fine print that you wonder if you’re actually making a saving. So today we’re keeping it simple: One free month of unlimited data on Boost Mobile.
Maybe it’s because it’s Easter, but the folks at Boost Mobile are feeling generous. Until April 5 they’re offering you a month free on their Unlimited Gigs plan.
I love free stuff. How do I get it?
It couldn’t be easier. The Unlimited Gigs plan on Boost Mobile is $50 per month. If you’re a new customer and you bring your own phone to Boost, you’ll get $50 in credit when you sign up.
$50 is good value for an unlimited data plan anyway, so a free month is just a cherry on top if you decide to switch.
Here’s the full rundown of what you’ll be enjoying absolutely gratis:
- Unlimited data, talk and text (after you reach 23GB speeds may slow temporarily during times of high network traffic).
- Coverage on Sprint’s nationwide network.
- 8GB of mobile hotspots.
- SD video streaming, up to 480p.
- All taxes and fees included.
It’s as simple as that?
Pretty much. Just remember it’s not the first month free. You receive the $50 in credit after signing up, so you’ll still have to pay an initial fee of $50 when joining. But hey, you’re still getting a free month sometime.
Also you need a compatible device. Your Nokia 3210 probably needs upgrading by now anyway. Most mainstream iPhone and Android models will be fine, just check the list when you sign up. Former Sprint devices aren’t eligible.
